Post-wise Distribution:

• Scientific Assistant/C: 80 posts (B.Sc with Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics)
• Technician/B: 70 posts (3-year Diploma in Engineering)

• OBC: 40 posts
• SC: 23 posts
• ST: 12 posts

Educational Qualification

For Scientific Assistant/C (80 posts):

• B.Sc degree with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD)
• Must have Physics and Mathematics as main subjects OR Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects
• From recognized university

For Technician/B (70 posts):

• 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Civil) with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD)
• From recognized board/institution

Age Limit

• Scientific Assistant: 18-25 years
• Technician: 18-25 years
• Age as on: March 10, 2026
• Relaxation: SC/ST-5 years, OBC-3 years, PwBD-10 years, Ex-Servicemen as per rules

Salary & Benefits

Scientific Assistant/C:

• Pay Level: Level-6 (₹35,400 - ₹1,12,400)
• Starting Basic: ₹35,400 per month
• Gross Salary: ₹50,000-55,000 per month (including DA, HRA, TA)
• Annual CTC: ₹6.5-7.5 Lakh

Technician/B:

• Pay Level: Level-3 (₹21,700 - ₹69,100)
• Starting Basic: ₹21,700 per month
• Gross Salary: ₹35,000-40,000 per month
• Annual CTC: ₹5-5.5 Lakh
