Eligibility Criteria

Assistant Professor: Master's degree with minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the concerned subject from a recognised Indian University. NET/SET/SLET qualification is mandatory as per UGC norms. Candidates with Ph.D. awarded after 19-09-1991 are exempted from NET/SET.

Associate Professor: Good academic record with a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline. Master's Degree with at least 55% marks. Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience at Assistant Professor level. Minimum 7 publications in UGC-listed/peer-reviewed journals. Total API/research score of 75 as per UGC norms.

Professor: Ph.D. degree with minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience at Associate Professor level. Minimum 10 research publications in UGC-listed journals. Total API/research score of 120 as per UGC norms.

Dean: Ph.D. with minimum 15 years of teaching/research experience at university/college level, including evidence of successfully guiding doctoral candidates and major research projects.

Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be placed in the 7th Pay Commission pay structure applicable to Maharashtra State University employees. Pay scale ranges from Rs.57,700 to Rs.2,18,200 per month depending on the post and Academic Level (AL).

Selection Process
