Scientist B: This is a Group A gazetted position in NIELIT's scientific cadre. Scientists work on research projects, curriculum development, technical consultancy, examination design, content creation for e-learning, monitoring accredited centers, conducting faculty training programs, developing software applications, and contributing to NIELIT's technical publications. Scientist B positions require M.Tech./M.E./MCA or equivalent post-graduate degrees with strong academic records and research aptitude. Age Limit and Relaxation

Age relaxation as per Government of India norms: SC/ST candidates receive 5 years relaxation, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) get 3 years, PwBD candidates are eligible for 10 years (General), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC/ST), Ex-servicemen receive relaxation as per defense service + 3 years, and Government servants with 3 years continuous service get 5 years up to 40 years. Salary Structure and Benefits

Scientist B: Pay Level 10 as per 7th CPC - Rs. 56,100 - 1,77,500/- per month plus DA (currently ~50%), HRA (24%/16%/8% based on city class), Transport Allowance, and other allowances. Gross monthly salary approximately Rs. 85,000 - 1,00,000/- initially.

Technical Assistant: Pay Level 6 - Rs. 35,400 - 1,12,400/- per month plus DA, HRA, TA. Gross monthly salary approximately Rs. 55,000 - 65,000/- initially.
