**Young Professional - Securities Market Operations (40 Posts)**: This is the largest category focusing on the operational aspects of securities market regulation. Comprehensive Eligibility Criteria

**Educational Qualifications**: Domain-specific educational qualifications as mentioned above. All degrees must be from UGC recognized universities or AICTE approved institutions. Distance education degrees are generally not acceptable unless specifically mentioned. **Minimum Percentage**: Candidates must have secured minimum 60% aggregate marks (or 6.0 CGPA on 10 point scale) in their qualifying degree. Relaxation of 5% is provided for SC/ST/PwD candidates. **Age Limit**: Candidates must not be more than **30 years** as on the date of publication of advertisement (February 08, 2026). This means candidates born on or after February 09, 1996 are eligible. Age relaxation as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates is applicable. **Work Experience**: While fresher candidates can apply, preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience in financial or investment environment requiring knowledge of market practices, regulatory bodies, law firms, research organizations, or IT companies working on financial applications. Internships, articleship (for CA), and project work during studies are also considered valuable experience. **Computer Proficiency**: All candidates must have basic computer skills including MS Office applications. For IT domain, advanced programming and technical skills are mandatory. For Research domain, proficiency in statistical software is required. **Language Skills**: Proficiency in English is essential for all domains. Selection Process - Rigorous Multi-Stage Assessment

**Stage 1 - Application Screening**: All applications received within the deadline are screened for eligibility criteria including educational qualifications, age, minimum marks, and completeness of application. Stipend and Benefits

**Monthly Stipend**: Selected Young Professionals will receive an **all-inclusive monthly stipend of Rs. 70,000** (Rupees Seventy Thousand only). This is a consolidated amount with no separate allowances. Terms and Conditions

This is a contractual engagement, not regular employment. Selected Young Professionals will not be SEBI employees and will have no claim for regularization or absorption. The engagement is purely for gaining experience and contributing to specific projects. Candidates must dedicate full-time to SEBI work and cannot take up other employment or professional practice during the engagement period. Part-time studies may be permitted with prior approval. Young Professionals will be assigned to specific departments based on organizational requirements and may be required to work across departments as needed. They should be flexible and willing to work on diverse assignments. Confidentiality and integrity are paramount. Young Professionals will have access to sensitive market information and regulatory data which must be kept strictly confidential as per SEBI's conduct rules and insider trading regulations. SEBI reserves the right to terminate the engagement at any time without assigning reasons by giving one month notice or payment in lieu thereof. Similarly, Young Professionals can resign with one month notice. The number of vacancies is tentative and SEBI reserves the right to increase, decrease, or not fill any position at its discretion.
