Important Notes on Age Limit:
- The liberal upper age limits are specifically designed to accommodate ex-servicemen and retired medical/paramedical professionals
- Retired government doctors and medical staff are eligible and encouraged to apply
- Ex-servicemen can add their entire defence service period to the upper age limit
- Age will be calculated as on the last date of application submission (09-02-2026)
- Date of birth as per 10th standard certificate or birth certificate will be accepted
- Candidates seeking age relaxation must submit valid certificates from competent authority
- OBC certificate should contain Non-Creamy Layer clause valid for current financial year
- PwBD certificate must be issued by medical board constituted by Central/State Government
- Ex-servicemen must provide discharge certificate and pension payment order as proof

Educational Qualification Requirements
For Medical Officer (Specialist) Positions:
Specialist Medical Officer (Medicine/Surgery/Orthopedics/Gynecology/Pediatrics/Psychiatry):
- MBBS degree from recognized Medical College/University
- Post-graduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) in respective specialization from recognized institution
- Valid permanent registration with Medical Council of India (NMC) or State Medical Council
- Minimum 3-5 years of post-qualification clinical experience in relevant specialty
- Experience in government hospitals/medical colleges preferred
- Proficiency in diagnosis, treatment protocols, and patient management
For Medical Officer (MBBS) - General Duty:
- MBBS degree from recognized Medical College/University in India or abroad
- For foreign medical graduates: Valid equivalence certificate from NMC
- Valid permanent registration with State Medical Council (Punjab Medical Council preferred)
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in OPD/IPD settings
- Knowledge of common diseases, emergency medical care, and primary healthcare
- Computer literacy for electronic medical records and digital health systems
For Dental Officer:
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from recognized Dental College/University
- Valid permanent registration with Dental Council of India or State Dental Council
- Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in any specialty will be an added advantage
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in dental practice
- Proficiency in dental procedures including extractions, fillings, root canal treatment
