Qualification
Educational Qualification for Academic Resource Persons
Essential Qualifications (Common for All Subjects):
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com) in relevant subject from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree from an NCTE recognized institution
- For reserved category candidates: Minimum 45% marks in graduation may be accepted as per UP government norms
Subject-Specific Requirements:
1. Hindi Education (Sahayak Adhyapak - Hindi):
- Bachelor's Degree with Hindi as a major subject OR Hindi Literature/Hindi Language as one of the subjects
- B.Ed with Hindi teaching methodology
- Proficiency in Hindi language with good communication skills
- Desirable: Experience in teaching Hindi at primary/upper primary level
2. English Education (Sahayak Adhyapak - English):
- Bachelor's Degree with English as a major subject OR English Literature/English Language as one of the subjects
- B.Ed with English teaching methodology
- Excellent command over English language - written and spoken
- Desirable: Experience in teaching English at primary/upper primary level or participation in English language training programs
3. Science Education (Sahayak Adhyapak - Science):
- B.Sc degree with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or related science subjects
- B.Ed with Science teaching methodology
- Strong conceptual understanding of science subjects taught at primary and upper primary levels
- Desirable: Experience in science education, conducting science experiments, or science outreach activities
4. Social Studies Education (Sahayak Adhyapak - Social Studies):
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts with subjects like History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, or related social science subjects
- B.Ed with Social Studies teaching methodology
- Understanding of social sciences curriculum at elementary level
- Desirable: Experience in teaching social studies or conducting social awareness programs
Additional Requirements:
- CTET/UPTET qualification is desirable but not mandatory for Academic Resource Person positions
